June 11.: First part: Again the "typical" cloud above Ukraine. An opening with deep QSB but nevertheless some nice contacts from SP to TA7. Second part: A nice and very long opening with high MUF reaching 214 MHz. Strange that the East-West part was wide open while North-South was almost closed.

I've been monitoring 50-144Mhz with LiveMUF since 1200ut. Nice to see everybody working DX and the cloud is above your head :-( . And then, right before the show was over, I caught these stns with remarkable short skips (MUF calculated with MUF.EXE by G4PCS)

Nice es opening albeit a bit patchy here and HA8CE 55F KN06en qtf 85 after it had finished. Had other FAI sigs but a station persisted in calling me ssb via tropo (59..) killing chances of more qsos.
es gotaway was uy0up ko50, why do some Gs persist in cqing on 300 even when they know they are not in it...

Hi Udo,
Very patchy opening, with signals 59, then nothing for 5-10 mins. I agree with David G7RAU on the CQ issue, lots of unneccessary QRM around 144.300, spread out guys, please.

The band was quiet here, apart from a few hopeful Gs who were valiantly calling CQ, after about 1830. The shortest QRB was about 1200km, so the MUF must have been well above the band during the period 1813 - 1819.
Usual gear here: big SSPA, 15.6dBi yagi, 0.4dB HEMT preamp.

Hi,
Nice opening today but nothing new worked.
Total chaos on 300 at times, wish stations would qsy up or down , I lost quite a few contacts because of qrm. Hope we get some more tomorrow, shortest qrb was 1034kms.Muf must have been well over 144Mhz.
